“GO RTS FARES” APP REQUIRED TO RIDE RTS ROUTE 150 BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6

GoRTS Fares
Beginning Wednesday, November 6, UF Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) and RTS will launch a pilot program to test the GoRTS Fares app as a shuttle/bus boarding access method. If successful, this app could streamline future boarding processes, improve ridership data accuracy, and provide a one-stop solution for navigating the entire UF and RTS transit system.
Route 150 riders should download GoRTS Fares and create a free account with their UF email address. Starting on November 6, all UF-affiliated GoRTS Fares accounts will receive a unique boarding code that allows users to scan or tap their phone on an electronic validator to board the Route 150 shuttles.
The GoRTS Fares app will also offer live tracking for both RTS buses and Campus Connector shuttles, eliminating the need for separate apps.
