Passes
Passes may be obtained at the following locations:

The Downtown Station is located at 700 SE 3rd street. Open Monday through
Friday 7am-6pm, 8am-noon on the first and last Saturday of each month, closed
Sunday.

Schedules for campus and city routes are available at numerous campus locations
including: the Reitz Union, the UF Bookstore and Welcome Center, and
Shands. You can also pick up your schedule at the Downtown Station, on
any RTS
bus or download it from our website, www.go-rts.com.

Passes are valid on a month-to-month basis on all RTS main routes. Bearer may use this pass without limitation on any number of trips. Note: Monthly Pass is not valid on special service routes. Bearer of a monthly pass or student semester pass does not have to show his or her ID to board the bus.

Passes are valid on a month-to-month basis, good on RTS main routes. Bearer may use this pass without limitation on any number of trips. Based on Federal guidelines, a senior citizen is 65 years or older. A valid Senior Citizen or Disabled ID is required at time of purchase of the monthly half-fare pass for $15.00. We honor Medicare/Medicaid cards. For Senior Citizen ID's, RTS will also honor a valid driver's license.
UF Students, Faculty, Staff, And Spouses
Designated UF Students, faculty, staff and spouses enjoy pre-paid unlimited access to all RTS Fixed-Route Services. No fee required. Just show the driver your valid Gator 1 ID card.
Note: Not valid on Special Services such as Gator Aider, etc. Employee funding provided by UF and FDOT. Student funding provided by UF Student Activity and Service Fees.

City of Gainesville/ GRU Employees
All City General Government and GRU employees ride fixed route service with no fee required by simply showing their City/GRU work photo ID badge. Now that all City employees have access, you no longer need to get an RTS employee bus pass sticker for your ID badge to ride the bus. Not valid on special services.
VA, County & Shands Employees
Designated VA, county and Shands employees ride fixed route service with no fee required. County employees get an RTS sticker on your work photo ID badge by calling 334-2600. VA employees call the Police Service Dispatch Center Ext. 4091. Shands employees show their valid Gator 1 card. Not valid on special services.
ADA Paratransit Service
Part of our commitment to the community is making RTS rides available and accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. ADA certified individuals can ride any RTS fixed route service for free – just show your valid ADA card. RTS also offers complementary door-to-door paratransit service in lift-equipped vehicles for those ADA paratransit certified riders who are unable to use the fixed-route service. These rides are offered by appointment at a cost of $2 per trip. Please place your service request the day before your trip. Call MV Transportation at (352) 375-2784 to set up your travel reservation.
The Center for Independent Living (CIL) has moved to a new location near the Creekside Mall. CIL can be accessed by Routes 5 and 43 and is located at 220 SW 36th Terrace, Gainesville, FL 32607, (352) 378-7474.
