- Hurricane Irma Impacts (9/8/2017)
Due to the approach of Hurricane Irma and the closings of Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, RTS will be running reduced service today, Friday , September 8 and will cancel Later Gator service through the weekend.
During reduced service, there will be no service on routes 19, 21, 27, 28, 29, 36,37, 38, 39, 40, 46, 62, 76, 77, UF campus and Later Gator routes. Reduced frequency will occur on routes 9, 10, 12, 13, 20, 23, 33, 34, 35 and 43. Routes running during reduced service are marked with an ‘R’ in the printed and online versions of the RTS schedule. All other routes and paratransit service will run as normal.
Saturday bus service will run as normal.
Service on Sunday and Monday will be dictated by wind speeds and weather conditions. Buses and emergency vehicles stop running when winds hit a constant 35 miles per hour. Routes may be detoured due to debris in roadways or closed roadways also.

- Holiday Service on Labor Day (8/29/2017)
We will have Holiday Service on Monday, September 4, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Only routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711 will be running between about 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. depending on the route. All other routes will be suspended, however ADA service will between the same hours of service.
- Routes 117 and 126 Detoured (4/13/2017)
Routes 117 and 126 will be detoured until early May due to construction on Hull Road (west of 34th Street). Routes will be using SW 17th Place and SW 37th Street. A temporary bus stop will be placed on SW 38th Terrace just before SW 17th Place. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Credit Cards Accepted (9/29/2016)
Beginning Monday, October 3, Mastercard and Visa credit cards will be accepted for monthly and semester pass purchases at the Rosa Parks Downtown Station. Debit cards sponsored by these two companies will be accepted, however the transaction will be run as credit. The Downtown Station is open Monday-Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Butler Plaza Stops Removed (8/17/2016)
Due to Butler Plaza construction, the bus stops on the east side of SW 35th Boulevard (across from Publix) and behind the old Walmart on Windmeadows Blvd will be removed until further notice. Patrons on SW 35th Blvd may use the bus stop at the corner of 35th and Archer Road. Patrons using the Windmeadows bus stop may use the stop at Chuey’s Restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Hoverboards Banned (2/1/2016)
Effective Monday, February 1, 2016, we have banned the transport of hoverboards on RTS buses. The ban is for passenger and operator safety due to the volatility of hoverboard batteries. We apologize for any inconvenience.

- Welcome Aboard (1/17/2015)
You asked for it…and NOW have it! Welcome to the RTS Employee Website. We have placed common forms and resources for your use and will post RTS Personnel Alerts not available to the public as well.
Everyone will use the same username and password. However, every newsletter will state the new password for the site. We will be changing the password three times a year for security purposes. Please do not share the passwords with anyone outside the organization.
We hope you find it useful and look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.
